Nag Tibba Trek Must Visit Destination
OVERVIEW
The Nag Tibba Trek package will take you from Dehradun for two days after you enter the train station or coach stand and get a cab to Pantwari from there. You get refreshed, lunch at a hotel, and then commence your 4-km trek towards Nag Tibba. After hitting the base camp, cool tea and snacks accompanied by a tasty dinner are welcome.
The summit of Tibbah Nag is only 7 km from the base camp, where you can see the beauty of many big peaks such as Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath and Gangotri that are never aged. On the second day of the trek Nag Tibba temple is also to be guarded. The downhill route would then be no different from the uphill route. There is a walk of around 8 KM to meet Pantwari and then a drive to Dehradun, to finish this tour with some lovely memories.
ABOUT THE NAG TIBBA
Nag Tibba Trek or the Serpent’s Peak trek is an outstanding treat for explorers worldwide, as the trekking tour offers the finest serenity in dense and wet jungles. At an altitude of approximately 3022 metres, Nag Tibba is an ideal weekend getaway destination, particularly for hiking tours. It is really exciting for many people to be refreshed from their usual repetitive jobs.
It is a less exploring walk near Mussoorie compared to that but with a lot to witness and appreciate. Garhwal Himalayas is Nag Tibba’s revolutionary protector and the highest peak in Shivalik. Before reaching the summit, the rich flora and fauna in the forest is the main draw that keeps trekkers coming back to enjoy the beauty of Nag Tibba Trekking. The Bandarpoonch hill, Gangotri hills, Kedarnath peak, Changabang peak and Doon valley are wonderful ways to enjoy.
Trek to Nag Tibba is a circular trek which takes you from the point of departure to a different end point and the paths you cover do not overlap once. A scenery contrasting when you go down from the top would be noticeable. A few gorgeous towns and Deodar forests will greet you warmly and give you a cool environment to get away from your exhaustion.
The camping experience of this walk was the extra nature of the journey. When you feel like you are in a perfect room to see the sky and the twinkling stars, you will definitely return to revive this time. Nag Tibba walking is also widely recommended for beginner and physically fit.

THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR
VIEW OF SUNSET
This is one of the few treks that you can watch fantastic sunsets. This is due to the direction of this path. On a clear day you can see large snowy mountain ranges such as Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, Srikanth, and Gangotri illuminating a shade of fiery orange. You see below you a floating cloud bed. In order to see this sunset, you have not to go down to a high point. From your campsite you can see it!
BHATWADI VILLAGE
Nag Tibba has a long summit day. You start going down to a village called Bhatwadi right after you reach the summit. This is a very picturesque route. One hour down you enter a clearing called Moriana and on one side you can see some shepherd’s huts. There’s a stream on one side of the stream. It’s surrounded by woods. This is a beautiful place to take pictures!
The trail passes through a beautiful forest cover from here, which moves along the stream. After an hour or so you enter farms and are disappointed about the end of such a lovely trail.
